Poor And Violent Neighborhoods Hazardous To Your Health According To John Hopkins Study

The Baltimore Sun is reporting on a story today that illustrates that living in poor and violent areas increases the risk of a heart attack and stroke. The study states that living in these areas increases risk characteristics equal to being an everyday smoker.

The study compiled by the Bloomberg School of Public Health clearly shows the stress of living in many urban areas, and the long term effects on overall health.
